The innovation gender gap in transition countries

چکیده
Abstract This paper investigates the sources of possible gender ownership gap in innovativeness a set Transition economies by means firm-level data coming from Business Environment and Enterprise Performance Survey (BEEPS V) conducted 2012–2014. Through Blinder-Oaxaca decomposition we highlight factors explaining differences propensity to innovate between female-owned male-owned firms. We find that innovation disparity firms with females among their owners those having only male is mainly due endowment effects. Tangible intangible assets affect two groups
